We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. My only suggestion is something that has helped me out with pet photos a lot. When taking pictures of pets or animals, attempt to get down to their level. It tends to give them a little bit more of portrait feel rather than a "pet pic."

i'll have to try that tip... i have a really hard time shooting my pets. X_x getting them to hold still... ugh. nothing like holding down a 3 month old pup, while trying to take a picture.
i think i shot her... 25 times or so, and this was the only one i liked. so yeah, i need all the help i can get.
....my cats, however, are now used to having a camera in their face.
